Welcome to Aya’s K-Drama Corner, where the opinions are honest, the feelings are dramatic, and no drama is safe from a little overthinking. I started this blog because, frankly, I had a lot of opinions and no one to share them with. You know the feeling: pausing an episode to rant, replaying a scene because something doesn’t sit right, or spending hours thinking about a character’s choices when you should probably be doing something else? Yeah, that’s me.
I figured there had to be other people like me out there, so I created this little corner of the internet for us. A place where we can talk about the dramas we love, the ones that disappoint us, and everything in between.
So, What Kind of Drama Bestie Am I?
I’m the friend who’ll gush over a beautiful romance, question a character’s questionable decisions, and wonder why a promising storyline suddenly went off the rails. I love a good drama, but loving something doesn’t mean pretending it’s flawless. Expect honest opinions, a little sarcasm, plenty of feelings, and the occasional deep dive into why a character behaves the way they do. I’m not here to tell you what to think. I just want to give you something to think about, even if we end up disagreeing.

Drama Reviews: The good, the bad, the wasted potential, and everything in between. No sugar-coating, just my honest thoughts.
Recommendations: The dramas and movies I think deserve your time, whether they’re beloved classics or hidden gems.
Character Analysis: A closer look at the people behind the plot, their choices, their struggles, and the psychology that makes them tick. Understanding a character doesn’t mean excusing their actions, and I’m always interested in exploring the difference.

I’d rather the reviews speak for themselves. I did draw myself, though, so you’d know a real human is typing this. This is 100% human written! AI may be taking over a lot of things but not our little corner! I’m learning Korean (안녕하세요!), I have two cats who probably couldn’t care less about my latest drama obsession, and I spend far too much time thinking about fictional people.
Honestly, I wouldn’t have it any other way.

More than anything, I want this blog to feel like two friends chatting over coffee. No judgment, no pressure to agree with everyone else, and no need to pretend you loved a drama just because the rest of the world did.
